History

AU Health has long been aware of the need for an off campus, patient-centered outpatient imaging center in the community. In 2020, the project moved forward and an imaging center was included in the new medical building project on Wheeler Road in West Augusta.

The goal of this center will be no less than to offer immeasurable benefits in the form of state-of-the-art imaging equipment, convenient scheduling, quick turnaround times and friendly customer service to patients. The center will also provide easier access to care without backlogs and will offer lower cost, affordable exams for both insured and uninsured patients.

This center will serve patients referred from AU Health and other providers around the Augusta community. With an emphasis on compassionate care and accurate diagnoses provided by AU Health’s radiologists, this center will provide exceptional experience. In short… Imaging Elevated.
